Koh Young Hun Fellowship

He received his bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia, a MA in Southeast Asian Studies and a PhD in Political Science from the National University of Singapore.

He is a former special advisor to the President Jokowi, a member of the council of expert of Indonesian Chinese Association and a former General Secretary of Indonesian National Movement. He is the founder of PARA Syndicate, a policy studies institute and former research staff of the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, Jakarta. He received the Main Service Star of the Republic of Indonesia and the Veteran Honorary Star of Veterans’ Legion of the Republic of Indonesia.

His books, among others are Sudut Istana (2019), Memompa Ban Kempis (2014), Slank Sebuah Novel Politik (2012), Tuhan Tidak Tidur (2008), The Indonesian Military After the New Order (2006). He is currently finishing his latest book entitled Musings in the Palace Corner.
