The Korea-Indonesia Center (hereinafter KIC) has officially launched a joint fine arts exchange exhibition with the Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Denpasar (ISI Bali), bridging the artistic sensibilities of both nations.

Opening on October 16, 2026, and running through October 23, the exhibition is designed to foster a deeper understanding of each nation's culture and sentiment through fine arts while broadening bilateral cultural exchanges. The exhibition features diverse and distinctive works from prominent artists: Wayan ‘Kun’ Adnyana in painting, Choi Young in photography, and Ketut Muka Pendet and Kim Hyon Sun in ceramics. Spanning painting, photography, and ceramic art, the works of these representative artists offer visitors a profound resonance where traditional heritage meets contemporary aesthetics.

Meanwhile, during the opening ceremony held on October 16, the ‘Global Arts Award’ ceremony took place to honor notable contributions toward advancing cultural and artistic exchanges between Korea and Indonesia. Director Koh Young Hun presented the awards and expressed his gratitude to Anak Gde Agung Rai, founder of the ARMA Museum, for serving as a cultural bridge, as well as to painter Wayan ‘Kun’ Adnyana and photographer Choi Young for their dedication to bilateral artistic growth.
